Rosewood soap is a luxurious and gentle soap made with rosewood essential oil, known for its sweet, woody-floral aroma and skin-soothing properties. Though not as common as lavender or tea tree, it’s a prized choice in artisan and natural skincare products. Rosewood essential oil is distilled from the wood of the Aniba rosaeodora tree (a species native to the Amazon rainforest). Due to sustainability concerns, it’s often used in very small amounts, or replaced by ho wood oil (a similar, more eco-friendly alternative).
